Teraoka/DIGI's latest innovations demonstrated National Food Week in Utrecht The staff of DIGI Nederland B.V. demonstrated DIGI wrappers together with Service scale printers at the new image of their booth. DIGI Nederland B.V. joined and presented the total line of DIGI products and their consumable supply items at National Food Week (formerly known as Roka Fair) on March 23rd to 26th. President Kazuharu Teraoka of Teraoka Tokyo and Teraoka/DIGI family members gathered at the DIGI Booth to provide DIGI Nederland with full support at the exhibition. DIGI was well presented at the exhibition. In particular, the introduction of the model SM-300 series and SM-500 series received much attention from visitors. During the show, the DIGI booth had many customers visiting, including the Global Retailer - Ahold. Teraoka' s booth had many customers from nationwide and from overseas, and was constantly full during the whole period of the show. Various "NEW" equipment were presented there. Supermarket Trade Show in Tokyo The show, one of the biggest ones for the retail industry was held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 5th to 7th. The year 2003 is the 50th anniversary since the self-service style debuted in supermarkets in Japan. During the exhibition dates, Teraoka' s booth had many visitors and was constantly full. The booth spotlighted Teraoka' s total solution for store operations. The T@web, Teraoka' s innovative web-based information system for store operations, was presented linking the total line of Teraoka store equipment such as the POS register Web-2100 (Linux based), Electronic Shelf Label and POP printers as well as Teraoka' s leading weigh-wrap system and scale printers. The water purification system ECOA series - another of Teraoka' s new business lines - was also presented as an example of customer satisfaction services provided by stores. Especially, Teraoka' s new counter scale printer with a new concept (released soon in Japan) received much attention, together with another new series of Web-2100 built-in self scanning system.Teraoka Tokyo had good sales feedback from customers after the show.
